When There Are No Words

A book on support after loss

If Your Best Friend Experienced Pregnancy or Infant Loss Tomorrow... Would You Know How to Support Them?

We're creating a book to ensure the next wave of grieving families are met with understanding—not silence.

Why This Book Matters

Every day, families across the world experience the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss. It's devastating. It's isolating. And more often than not—it's misunderstood.1 in 4 women will experience this kind of loss. That means it's already part of your world, even if it hasn't touched your life directly. But when it does happen, most people don’t know what to say. Or worse—say the wrong thing. Not out of malice, but out of fear, discomfort, or simply not knowing any better. That's exactly what this book is here to change.

What This Project Is?

We’re gathering 10 brave families to become co-authors of something powerful: A book created not for sympathy—but for education, awareness, and lasting change.

Each chapter begins with one thought-provoking question:

“If your best friend experienced pregnancy or infant loss tomorrow... how would you support them, now that you’ve been through it?”

Through real, compassionate stories of families who have lived this pain, we aim to educate the support networks of tomorrow.

What You'll Share?

In your story, you'll answer:

What helped?

What hurt?

What do you wish people knew?

What would have made you feel truly supported?

These stories will become a guidebook for empathy. A blueprint for what real, meaningful support looks like. And a tribute to the babies who were here—and are still here, in memory and in love.
